Supporting Eve Featured by Expat Living for International Women’s Day — Why This Recognition Matters

Ahead of International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March, Supporting Eve was highlighted by Expat Living as one of the female-owned fashion and lifestyle businesses at Cluny Court worth celebrating.

To be included in an International Women’s Day feature — alongside other women-led brands — is an honour I don’t take lightly. Not because of visibility, but because of what Supporting Eve represents.

This recognition isn’t about lingerie.
It’s about women being seen, supported, and taken seriously.

Why Supporting Eve Exists

Supporting Eve was born out of personal frustration.

After two children, a breast reduction, and early menopause, I struggled to find bras that actually fit — especially with a smaller band and larger cup. What I found instead was a system that asked women to adapt, compromise, or simply tolerate discomfort.

So I built the space I couldn’t find.

Supporting Eve exists to help women feel confident, comfortable, and supported in their own skin — not through trends or pressure to buy, but through education, expertise, and proper fit.

Why Being Highlighted for IWD Matters

International Women’s Day isn’t about celebrating perfection.
It’s about recognising progress, resilience, and women creating change — often quietly, often in overlooked spaces.

Bra fitting might seem small in the grand scheme of things. But when you spend your days listening to women talk about pain, embarrassment, or years of discomfort they thought they had to accept, you realise how fundamental this work is.

A well-fitted bra doesn’t just change how clothes sit.
It changes posture. Movement. Confidence. How a woman shows up in her day.

That’s why being recognised for IWD matters — because it validates the importance of work that supports women every single day, not just once a year.

What Supporting Eve Stands For

At Supporting Eve, we focus on:

  • Expert bra fitting, not sales targets

  • Inclusive sizing, including plus size bra, with band sizes 28–44 and cup sizes A–K

  • A calm, judgement-free space where women feel listened to

  • Education, so women never have to settle for “close enough” again

This approach is slower. It’s more personal. And it’s very intentional.

Being highlighted by Expat Living tells me that this kind of care — thoughtful, female-led, experience-driven — still matters.

Final Thoughts

Supporting Eve being featured for International Women’s Day is not just a milestone for the business — it’s a reminder of why I started in the first place.

When women are properly supported — physically and emotionally — they stand taller, move more freely, and feel more at home in their bodies.

That’s worth celebrating.
